Speed Jags and Speed Patches are intended as a pair. Standard patches or wrong sizes can increase resistance and negate the intended contact area.

Practical interpretation

Four-point caliber check: consciously compare weapon designation, case position, jag labeling, and patch size before each barrel.

Place patch centrally: distribute the material evenly over both sides. A patch folded on one side only unnecessarily increases resistance.

Can I use normal patches? For the Speed-Jag geometry, the corresponding Speed patches should be used. Why are there two .22 jags? One jag is intended for .22/.223/5.56 rifle, a separate one for .22 handgun. Is a cleaning rod included? No. Does 4× contact also mean 4× faster cleaning? No. This is not a reliable statement about cleaning duration.
