Real Avid MASTER-FIT Castle-Nut-Crowfoot: Standard and Extended in One Head The double-sided MASTER-FIT head fits standard and extended Castle Nuts on the AR-15 buffer tube and connects them via a 1/2-inch drive to a compatible torque wrench. The Crowfoot head is offered – not the torque wrench.

Useful when exactly these two Castle Nut contours are needed. The head is not a universal armorer’s wrench. Thin Castle Nuts and other AR-15 nut profiles require their respective matching contour.


Fits well if … you work on standard or extended Castle Nuts, have a compatible 1/2-inch torque wrench, and specifically want to add only this special head.


Fits less if … you want to cover thin Castle Nuts, barrel nuts, muzzle devices, or several different AR-15 profiles with a single tool.
