External QD sling adapter: only useful on the confirmed KRG counterpart
This part is the QD cup mount on the chassis – not sling, QD loop, or universal adapter. The purchase depends on whether your specific KRG setup has the currently approved installation location.
The most important point: A KRG logo on the chassis is not sufficient proof of compatibility.

Our honest assessment

The adapter creates a defined QD attachment point at selected KRG positions. It only makes sense if the sling path on the complete setup remains clean and exactly this counterpart is approved by the manufacturer.
For BRAVO and X-Ray, a rear cup mount is already provided; this external cup is not automatically approved as an additional point there. For Whiskey-3, the generation and fore-end limits specified by KRG apply.

Fits well if …
… your specific KRG fore-end has a confirmed installation location and you need a QD point exactly there.
… sling routing, operation, and carrying path are predetermined.

Fits less well if …
… you are looking for a universal QD point for any KRG chassis.
… Spigot Mount, older Whiskey-3 generation, or an unapproved additional point are involved.

Check sling path before installation A technically possible point can be ergonomically poor. Magazine, bolt area, and adjuster must remain free.


No QD sling swivel included The Cup is only half of the connection. A suitable QD sling swivel and the actual sling are required separately.


Limits and risks of wrong purchase

KRG excludes certain older Whiskey-3 forends and Spigot Mount applications. BRAVO and X-Ray already have their own rear Cup points; do not derive additional positions from the brand name.
The current product approval is more important than older installation graphics. If the counterpart and chassis generation are not clear, clarify first instead of drilling or improvising.

FAQ
Is this a complete sling adapter with QD sling swivel? No. It is the Cup mount on the chassis; QD sling swivel and sling are needed separately. Does the Cup fit every KRG Spigot Mount? No. The current KRG approval excludes Spigot Mount for this Cup application. Can I simply add another point on BRAVO or X-Ray? Not generally. Both families already have rear Cup mounts; additional installation locations must be explicitly approved. What should I check before installation? Chassis family, generation, fore-end, specific installation location, and the later sling path.
