After working up a sweat in the rain, the fabric collar looks like a wet rag and still smells like dog and mud after three days. PVC collars come into play here: rinse off, wipe down, done – and in a signal color that makes the dog immediately visible in the field.

For tough outdoor use, the material is what counts most in a collar: PVC is resistant to moisture, mud, and sweat, doesn’t swell, and stays shape-stable for years. Combined with signal orange, it becomes the ideal working collar for hunting and the outdoors.

The Farm-Land Adjustable Collar in Signal Orange is an easy-care PVC collar with quick-release, stepless length adjustment, and a sturdy leash ring, available in three size ranges from 24 to 63 cm. It’s aimed at handlers who want a robust, highly visible collar for everyday use, training, and the hunting grounds.

Our Assessment

Black-Raptor Summary:
The PVC collar is the maintenance-free working option among the Farm-Land collars – ideal for dogs regularly exposed to wetness, thick brush, and mud. With three size ranges from 24 to 63 cm, it covers everything from small terriers to large pointing dogs.
Buy if: your dog works a lot in the field and you want an easy-care, highly visible collar.
Don’t buy if: you prefer a particularly soft collar for pure city use – then the soft nylon version with reflector strip is the more comfortable choice.

Features & Construction
The collar is made from durable PVC that resists moisture and dirt. The quick-release opens and closes with a click, the length can be individually adjusted, and the sturdy ring fits any common leash.

Warning:
Regularly check dog collars for fit and damage. The collar must neither be too tight nor too loose. Do not leave dogs unattended with the collar on – risk of injury and strangulation.
