A good fit—or not?

A good fit if …
you’re specifically looking for a Carbon Clay lick stone for a horse or pony,
you’re consciously considering the listed ingredients as part of the feeding plan,
you regularly check consumption and mounting.

Probably not a good fit if …
you expect a medication or treatment for digestive problems,
your horse consumes lick stones very quickly and you can’t limit access,
a therapeutic or strictly balanced ration excludes additional feed.

What sets this variant apart

Carbon Clay: 27.78% Carbon Clay is the defining ingredient in this variant; 0.5 kg of Carbon Clay per 1.8 kg stone is also listed.

Sea salt plus herbs Cumin seeds and mint leaves complement the mineral-based recipe.

Flaxseed as an additional ingredient Ground flaxseed is also listed, clearly distinguishing this recipe from a simple salt lick.

Use & mounting
According to the available data, the lick stone can be mounted using a lick stone holder, rope, or suitable screw mounting. The mounting must safely support the weight and must not create sharp edges or places where the animal could get caught. If your horse licks it excessively, limit access at times.
