MAGPUL · PMAG · RANGER FLOORPLATE
More grip at the magazine base—but only for the right PMAG family
The Ranger Floorplate 3-pack replaces the baseplate on compatible PMAGs and provides an easier-to-grip finish. The key is the specific PMAG generation or magazine family.
3-pack · Black

Black Raptor's take
Handy if you want to grab magazines from pouches or bags faster and more securely. Not a universal baseplate for every PMAG generation or magazine family.

Does it fit your setup?

A good fit If you use compatible original PMAGs in the AR-15/M16/M4 range and want a defined grip point at the base.

Probably not a fit If you expect GEN-M3 Ranger Plates, LR/SR, AK, or other PMAG families to fit without checking compatibility first.

Features that matter in everyday use

3-pack Useful for a small training set with consistent handling.

Rubber component Provides a tactile, easy-to-grip finish.

Magazine baseplate, not a magazine The product does not increase capacity and is not a replacement for a complete magazine.

Black A Shopify variant, not a size or platform selection on this page.

Limitations and how to avoid buying the wrong item
The critical point is PMAG compatibility. “PMAG” alone is not enough.
end selection guide, as different families and generations may use different floorplates. Identify your existing magazines clearly before buying.
