Practical tips

First loosen, then turn. With cast iron, don’t tear at the food. Wait until a crust forms, slide the flex1 flat underneath, then turn in a smooth motion.

Short handle for direct control. The short handle is strong when you work close to the pan: fire pan on the grill, plancha, grill pan or cooking spot at camp.

Use browned bits. The front edge is suitable for loosening roasted flavors from the pan bottom. With some liquid, this creates a quick sauce or seasoning base.

Care after use. Clean the stainless steel plate and don’t leave the wooden handle in water unnecessarily long. Store dry to keep the tool looking good for a long time.

Petromax vibe
The flex1 is no showpiece, but a real tool. It sits next to fire pan, fire pot and embers when cooking outdoors and the group waits until the food comes straight from the pan. It’s made exactly for these simple, good evenings.
