23 brightness levels 15 daylight and 8 NV levels provide reserves for very different lighting conditions. The key is to set the brightness only as high as necessary.


QD mount integrated The mount is already part of the system. Before purchase, still check rail space, height, and if applicable the axis height of a magnifier.


1× instead of zoom The UH-1 is designed for quick target acquisition without magnification. For regular detail recognition at distance, a magnifier or a magnifying optic is more sensible.

Limits & avoid bad purchases

Don’t buy based on “Holographic = automatically faster.” The large window provides reserve but does not replace reproducible weapon presentation. Also, the UH-1 at around 329 g is considerably heavier than compact LED red dots. If your main goal is a very lightweight setup or you need real optical magnification at medium distance, another concept is more suitable.


Check mounting geometry Picatinny/Weaver compatibility says nothing about the optimal position. With a magnifier, rail space, axis height, and eye relief must also fit together.

FAQ
Do I need a separate mount? No. The QD mount for Picatinny/Weaver is integrated. Position and height still must fit the setup. Does the UH-1 have magnification? No, it is a 1× sight. For real magnification you need a magnifier or another optic. Is the UH-1 night-capable? It has eight NV brightness levels. Practical usability depends on the specific night vision system and mounting geometry. What does the 1-MOA centre dot mean? 1 MOA corresponds to about 2.9 cm angular coverage at 100 m. The centre dot is thus significantly finer than typical larger red dot points.


Black-Raptor classification: A strong choice if you deliberately want a robust holographic 1× system with a large window, EBR-CQB, and QD mount. For an ultra-light setup or regular distance work with magnification, the UH-1 is not the most economical solution.
