30 mm · Anti-Cant · mechanical
Vortex Bubble Level – Making Canting Visible The Shopify variant is the 30 mm version BL30M. The level sits on the main tube of the scope and provides a direct visual reference whether the system is canted when shooting.
Critical for purchase: The main tube diameter of the scope is decisive – not the objective diameter, ring height, or rail type.

Fits well / fits less well

Fits well if … … your scope has exactly a 30 mm main tube and you want to control canting in precision, zeroing, or long-range applications.
… you prefer a power-free, constantly visible reference directly on the glass.

Fits less well if … … your scope has a 1", 34 mm, or 35 mm main tube.
… you are looking for a mounting aid for one-time leveling; for that, a leveling kit is the more suitable tool class.

Features and Benefits

Direct Cant Control A quick glance at the bubble shows if the firearm is tilted sideways. The benefit increases with distance and precision demands because canting can then become more visible in point of impact.

No Electronics No battery, no switching on, no menu. The level is always available as long as it is correctly mounted and aligned.

Limits and Avoiding Bad Purchases

A bubble level does not replace proper optic mounting. If the reticle is already mounted crooked to the system, the bubble only shows its own reference. Mounting and bubble must be properly aligned to each other.
The Shopify SKU BL30M designates the 30 mm version. Do not improvise other tube diameters with shims, spacers, or overtightening.

Technical Data with Practical Interpretation

Version 30 mm main tube – exactly matching the Shopify SKU BL30M.

Function Mechanical spirit level
for checking against lateral canting.

Mounting position On the main tube of the scope. Before tightening, position so that the bubble remains readable from the normal shooting position.

Practical effect Helps to make a recurring posture error visible; but does not improve the reticle or ballistics by itself.

FAQ
Does the level fit a 34 mm scope? No. This Shopify variant is BL30M for 30 mm main tube. Is the level only useful for long range? No. It can also help when zeroing and training repeatable shooting positions; canting becomes more relevant with increasing distance. Does it replace a mounting leveling kit? No. It remains as a reference on the scope, while a leveling kit is primarily used for alignment during mounting.
Black Raptor · Avoid bad purchases
BL30M is the right choice if your scope really has a 30 mm main tube and you want to visibly check cant. The benefit is simple and honest: detect errors before they have to be searched for in the shot pattern.
