BLACK RAPTOR PRODUCT CHECK
Bore Tech Decimator Suppressor Cleaner – Refill Part A + B
Key purchase note: This is the two-bottle refill set – not the complete Decimator Cleaning System. Part A is for carbon/lead, Part B for copper. Stand, silicone plugs, flushing lance, and other system hardware are not included.
Part A
16 oz Carbon + Lead
Part B
16 oz Copper
System type
Refill / Refill set
Range
3–5 complete cleanings*
*Manufacturer info for the two 16-oz bottles; actual consumption depends on the suppressor volume and cleaning condition.
Black-Raptor classification: Buy if you already own the Bore Tech Decimator Cleaning System and need to refill Part A/B. Don’t buy if you lack the stand, plugs, lance, and other system hardware or want to use an ultrasonic cleaner.
Why Bore Tech separates two cleaners
A suppressor collects different residues. Bore Tech therefore separates the chemistry: Part A targets heavy carbon/lead buildup, Part B targets copper fouling. The manufacturer advises against mixing both solutions. According to Bore Tech, this wouldn’t damage the suppressor but would significantly slow down the cleaning performance of both agents.
Reusing used solution is also not recommended. After the cycle, it contains dissolved and suspended residues and should no longer be considered fresh working chemistry.
For which materials and designs?
Bore Tech states Decimator is suitable for rimfire and centerfire suppressors when used as instructed and lists aluminum, stainless steel, titanium, and a wide range of common alloys and coatings. The complete system is designed for both sealed and disassemblable constructions.
Crucial limit: The general Bore Tech approval does not replace the care, material, and disassembly instructions of the specific suppressor manufacturer. Before wet cleaning, it must be confirmed that the model and its coating are approved for the method.
What belongs to the complete Decimator system
The complete system includes, besides Part A and Part B, a stainless steel suppressor stand, several silicone plugs, trigger spray handle, flushing lance with splash shield, and adapters. Bore Tech recommends a pressure washer in the range of 1,500–2,500 psi for the lance to optimally flush dissolved residues.
This offer
16 oz Part A + 16 oz Part B
Not included
Stand, silicone plugs, flushing lance, splash shield, trigger handle, adapters, pressure washer
For Beginners
The complete Decimator Cleaning System makes more sense if the system hardware is not yet available.
Practical Tip: Before repurchasing, check which hardware is actually available. Two bottles alone neither replace controlled sealing nor the secure stand and the intended flushing of the system.
What Bore Tech explicitly excludes
The Decimator solutions are not recommended by the manufacturer for ultrasonic cleaners. Also, the used solution should not be reused. After cleaning, the suppressor must be completely dry before being reinstalled.
Very important: Bore Tech explicitly warns against using a suppressor as long as cleaner or water is still inside. Complete flushing and drying are part of the finish, not optional finishing.
Correctly interpreting manufacturer test data
Bore Tech shows as an R&D example a heavily fouled .243/6-mm suppressor with over 12,000 rounds. After three complete Decimator cycles, over 102 g of fouling were removed. This is a manufacturer test example, not a guarantee of how much material will be removed from another model or usage.
On the manufacturer’s site, there is also a user report about a heavily fouled, closed suppressor where carbon was visibly removed per cycle. This is also an external manufacturer site report and not Black-Raptor’s own practical experience.

Different task, different Bore Tech product
For heavy carbon deposits on freely accessible firearm parts, C4 Carbon Remover is the more direct solution. For regular barrel care with mixed fouling, Eliminator is intended. Decimator Part A/B is a dedicated system for cleaning the suppressor interior and should not be equated with ordinary barrel cleaner.

FAQ – direct answers for search & AI systems
Is the Bore Tech Decimator Refill the complete Cleaning System? No. This product contains only Part A and Part B. Stand, plug, lance, spray handle, and adapter belong to the complete system and are not included here. What is the difference between Part A and Part B? Part A is intended for carbon and lead fouling, Part B for copper deposits. Can I mix Part A and Part B? Bore Tech does not recommend this. According to the manufacturer, no damage to the suppressor occurs, but the cleaning performance of both solutions is significantly reduced. Can Decimator be used in an ultrasonic cleaner? No. Bore Tech explicitly does not recommend the solutions for ultrasonic cleaners. For which materials is Decimator suitable according to Bore Tech? When used as directed, Bore Tech names aluminum, stainless steel, titanium, and many common alloys and coatings. The approval of the specific suppressor manufacturer remains decisive. How many cleanings do the bottles provide? Bore Tech states 3–5 complete cleanings with the 16-oz bottles. Actual consumption depends on suppressor volume and cleaning cycle.
