Glock · Micro Red Dot · Rear Sight Mount
OuterImpact Micro Adapter for Glock: slim upgrade for compact dots This adapter is designed for compact micro red dot footprints and uses the rear sight mount as the interface. Therefore, not only "Glock" and "Red Dot" matter, but the specific slide model, footprint, and height.

Our honest assessment

The available Shopify data describes a 7075-T6 aluminum plate with black anodized surface, Torx hardware, and alignment pins. The adapter is interesting if no direct milling is present and a compact micro dot is to be used.
The limit is clear: a micro adapter is not a universal plate for RMR, DeltaPoint, or other larger classic footprints.

Fits well if … … your specific Glock model has the intended rear sight mount and your dot uses a supported compact micro footprint.

Probably not suitable if … … you are looking for a large RMR/SRO/DeltaPoint screw pattern or a particularly low direct mount.

Check compatibility carefully

Glock model Do not equate standard, MOS, generation, and slide model. The specific rear sight mount must fit the plate.

Micro footprint The available product data lists compact classes like Holosun 407K/507K/EPS, Shield RMSc, SIG Romeo Zero, and similar micro formats. Check the exact screw pattern of the dot.

Height A dovetail/rear sight solution builds higher than a direct milling. This affects sight line and possible co-witness configurations.

Reversibility The advantage of the solution lies in the upgradeability without permanent milling. This is practical if the slide should remain unchanged.

Limits, disadvantages, and bad purchases
avoidance

Micro is not RMR: Do not confuse footprints by brand name or similar housing shape.
MOS not automatically compatible: An existing optics-ready interface may require a different plate than the rear sight mount provided here.
Consider mounting height: If you want the lowest possible optic position, you should check a direct solution.

Technical data with practical interpretation

Platform Glock; check specific generation and slide version before purchase.

SKU OTL-RDM-GL201a – subtle for identification, not a compatibility substitute.

Material 7075-T6 aluminum, black anodized according to available product data.

Optic class Compact micro red dots with matching screw pattern; no blanket guarantee for larger footprints.

Scope of delivery
Outerimpact micro adapter plate for Glock plus associated mounting parts/alignment pins according to available product data. Match screw choice and optic footprint before mounting.
Safe mounting

Unload Before any mounting, fully unload the firearm and keep the work area free of ammunition.

Post-check After mounting, check for firm fit and secure function. Apply torque and thread locker only according to the specifications of the involved manufacturers.

FAQ
Does the adapter fit every Glock? No. Generation, slide, and rear sight version must match the plate. Does an RMR fit? This product page describes a micro adapter. An RMR/SRO footprint is a different interface class and must not be automatically equated. Is the mounting reversible? The basic principle via the rear sight mount is intended as a reversible retrofit. The actual removal depends on proper mounting and the condition of the original parts. Can I expect co-witness? Not generally. Optic height, plate, and existing sights determine the sight line.

Black Raptor · Avoid bad purchases
Check Glock version and micro footprint separately. If both interfaces match, the plate is a clean retrofit solution without permanent milling.
