Precise Hunting · System Base at the Scope Clamping Sleeve: The diameter is measured on the scope, not estimated. The clamping sleeve is the scope side of the Precise Hunting DUO system. It stays on the optic while the matching DUO connector is chosen on the suppressor. The crucial factor is the actual outer diameter at the intended clamping position.
The short buying answer: Choose the variant based on the measured value, not the objective diameter or model designation.

Our honest assessment The right clamping sleeve is no minor detail: it determines whether a suppressor setup sits reproducibly and without tension. A sleeve that is too large won’t fit by tightening harder, and one that is too small won’t fit by force. Measuring carefully avoids the typical wrong purchase.

Fits well if …
you have measured the outer diameter exactly at the clamping point,
the matching DUO connector for your suppressor is fixed,
mounting position and clearance have been checked.

Probably doesn’t fit if …
you only know the optic’s objective value,
a similar diameter is considered sufficient,
the setup would have to be forced to fit.

All available diameters
30 mm, 48 mm, 49.5 mm, 51.5 mm, 52 mm, 56 mm, 57 mm, 58.5 mm, 62 mm, and 63.5 mm.
The selection in the variant field indicates the outer diameter of the target optic at the intended clamping position. Measure without cap, protective ring, or protruding foreign parts.

Instructor and user tip Measure with calipers at the actual clamping position, not at the objective edge. Then check whether the adjustment ring, turret, rail, and barrel contour allow enough clearance. For especially low-mounted optics, the Low-Scope version only makes sense if the build height is specifically checked.

System, material, and secure mounting According to the supplier, the clamping sleeve is made of hard anodized aluminum and has protective films on the contact surfaces. The DUO connector is not part of the clamping sleeve and is chosen separately after the exact suppressor fitting. Align straight, fasten according to manufacturer instructions, and check fit and clearance before each use.
Frequently asked questions Which diameter do I choose? The actual measured outer diameter of your scope at the planned clamping position. Is the objective diameter sufficient? No. The objective value is not automatically the outer clamping diameter. Is a DUO connector included? No. The matching connector is chosen separately for the specific suppressor. Can I use a neighboring size? No. The clamping sleeve must fit exactly. What do I check after mounting? Fit, alignment, clearance
gigkeit und die Funktion des vollständigen Aufbaus. Is there a low version? The supplier mentions a low-scope version for Ø62 mm. Whether it fits depends on the actual height.
Black Raptor Expert advice We separate measurements from assumptions. For the clamping sleeve, a precise measurement determines a reliable setup.
