Magpul · MOE AK-K2
Steeper grip angle for compatible AK platforms – grip feel instead of brand logo
The MOE AK-K2 is a polymer pistol grip for compatible AK systems. Its steeper grip angle can enable a more natural hand position, especially with more compact stock lengths – provided the specific grip mount fits.

AK · steeper grip angle · Storage-Core compatible

Classification before purchase

AK is a platform family, not a universal fit guarantee: Before purchase, the specific grip mount and existing attachment must fit the MOE AK-K2.
The colors Black, Flat Dark Earth, and Plum only change the look. The shop data also lists Storage-Core compatibility – this does not automatically mean that an additional Storage Core is included in the delivery.

Fits well

Compatible AK platform with matching grip mount
A steeper grip angle fits better to your own hand and sc
grip position
Polymer grip with Magpul-MOE ergonomics is desired

Rather not suitable

AR-15 grip mount or other platform
Unclear AK variant with different mounting
Assuming a supplied Storage Core, although this is not confirmed

Features with practical effect

Steeper grip angle
Can reduce backward bending of the hand with a shorter or more compact cheek weld. Whether this is more comfortable depends on stock length and hand size.

TSP texture
The texture listed in the shop data supports a defined grip contact without the need for additional grip pads.

Polymer
Lightweight, robust construction for a functional pistol grip without unnecessary mass.

Storage-Core compatible
The grip architecture is designed for suitable Storage Core solutions. Compatibility and scope of delivery are separate issues.

Limits, disadvantages and avoiding bad purchases

Don’t buy just based on “AK”: Different AK derivatives can vary in grip mount or attachment. The exact counterpart should be confirmed before ordering.
The steeper angle is an ergonomic choice, not a universal upgrade. If you handle safety and trigger better with a more classic angle, you don’t necessarily need the K2.

FAQ
Does the grip fit every AK? That should not be assumed. The specific grip mount and attachment of the existing system must fit.
What does the steeper angle bring? It can allow a more neutral hand position with a more compact cheek weld. Whether this is better for you depends on stock length and hand size.
Is a Storage Core included? The shop data confirms Storage-Core compatibility but not an additional core as part of the delivery.
What colors are available? Black, Flat Dark Earth and Plum.

Black-Raptor classification
A grip angle is a setup decision: The AK-K2 makes sense if the steeper angle matches the actual stock length and hand position. Platform and grip mount must be clarified before choosing the color.
