The M-LOK Handstop Kit creates a clear index point on the handguard. The benefit mainly comes when you want to reproducibly place your support hand without mounting a high vertical grip.

For modern M-LOK handguards, the kit is a clean solution when the hand position should be defined and the setup should stay flat. It does not replace a full vertical grip and is not automatically useful on every short handguard.

Fits well If you have a free M-LOK position and are looking for a repeatable hand stop for range or training routines.

Fits less well If you consciously need a lot of vertical grip height, your handguard has no M-LOK slots, or the desired position is too close to the muzzle or attachments.
