AICS instead of factory magazine Changing the magazine standard is decisive for purchase and must fit the caliber and cartridge length before conversion.


Limits, disadvantages, and avoiding bad purchases
"Tikka T3x" alone is not enough. This version is Short Action + right-hand. MDT separates Tikka by magazine logic; factory magazines are not the intended counterpart. Accessories for other ACC generations are not automatically compatible.

Mounting and safe use
Only work on a fully unloaded system. The available MDT manual specifies for Tikka T3/T3x SA a 4-mm hex key and 60–65 in-lb on the action screws, front first, then rear. Check AICS magazine guide and bolt barrel afterwards without live ammunition.
