Active Hearing Protection · SordinFLEX · 15 Variants
SORDIN SUPREME T2
For regular range, hunting, and training days where protection, speech clarity, and a suitable wearing system need to come together. The T2 combines active ambient awareness, four audio profiles, and a modular platform with headband, neckband, and helmet options.

Fits well / fits rather not

Fits well For sport shooters, hunters, instructors, and users who wear hearing protection for extended periods and want to choose between classic headband, neckband, or helmet attachment.

Fits rather not If you’re only looking for simple passive hearing protection or expect an immediately complete radio headset with microphone, PTT, and securely confirmed radio compatibility.

Why the T2 makes sense in practice

Four audio profiles Tactical, Comfort, Dual, and Ambient Boost allow for much more precise tuning than a simple volume control. The Dual profile is especially interesting when additional in-ear protection is used.

SordinFLEX instead of rigid setup The platform is designed for different wearing styles. The crucial factor is first your actual setup – helmet, cap, glasses, or classic headband – and only then the color.

AA battery A single AA cell simplifies power supply during training and on the go. Be
i With an empty battery, the earcup basically remains usable as passive hearing protection.

Designed for long use The added value is not only in the electronics. Fit, sealing, and the right wearing option determine whether the T2 remains truly usable for several hours.

Choice of variants without a bad purchase

Leather headband: classic robust solution for range, hunting, and training without a helmet.

Textile headband: flatter, functional headband alternative.

Neckband: useful if no band should interfere on top of the head or if headgear is used.

ARC helmet / RARC helmet: only choose if your helmet and rail setup fits the respective attachment.

Black, olive, or tan: visual decision; technically more important is the right attachment type.

Limits, disadvantages & avoiding bad purchases

Active hearing protection does not replace proper sealing. Glasses arms, hair, hats, helmet straps, or poorly fitting pads can reduce protection effectiveness. At very loud indoor ranges, with powerful calibers, or muzzle brakes, additional in-ear protection can be useful. The standard T2 variants in this offer are not automatically complete radio headsets; communication accessories must be selected separately and appropriately.

Technical data with practical interpretation

System: active electronic earcup hearing protection – enables controlled environmental awareness while providing protection.

Audio: Sordin HEAR2™ with four profiles – helpful because range, hunting grounds, and double hearing protection have different requirements.

Platform: SordinFLEX – relevant for different wearing systems and later adjustment.

Battery: 1 × AA – easily available and easy to replace.

Earcups: robust ABS construction according to existing product description.

Tests: MIL-STD-461 and MIL-STD-810 according to existing product description – an indicator of robustness, not a free pass for improper use.

Water resistance: battery compartment, electronics, and microphones water-resistant up to 2 m according to existing product description.

Variants: 15 combinations of color and wearing system – the attachment type is more decisive for purchase than the color.

Scope of delivery
1 × Sordin Supreme T2 in the chosen color and wearing variant as well as the ear pads and manufacturer documents belonging to the chosen version according to the scope of delivery. Microphone, PTT, radio, additional gel pads, or other SordinFLEX components are not generally confirmed as included.

Safe use
Try on hearing protection completely with safety glasses, helmet, or headgear and check for even sealing around both earcups. Set the environmental amplification only as high as speech remains naturally understandable. For particularly high impulse exposure, check double hearing protection.

FAQ
Which variant is easiest for normal training? Without a helmet, a headband is usually the simplest solution. Whether leather or textile is more comfortable depends on personal wearing comfort.

When is the neckband useful? When no band should interfere on top of the head or you combine the hearing protection with specific headgear.

Is the T2 a radio headset? The standard variants listed here are not automatically a complete communication setup. For radio operation, microphone, PTT, and device compatibility must be checked separately.

Why is fit so important? Even small gaps caused by glasses arms, hair, or helmet straps can reduce actual attenuation.

When is additional in-ear protection useful? Especially at loud indoor ranges, with powerful calibers, muzzle brakes, or long training days, double hearing protection can be useful.

Black-Raptor classification: The Supreme T2 is strong when you see hearing protection as a permanent piece of equipment. The right wearing variant is more important than the color; those who need helmet or radio integration should consciously check compatibility before purchase.
