UTG Lower 1/3 Co-Witness Mount for Aimpoint Micro / T-1 Footprint
The MT-T113C is not a universal “Micro mount,” but a fixed Picatinny mount with T-1 footprint and deliberately chosen Lower 1/3 height profile. It fits especially well when a compatible Micro red dot is used together with standard height AR iron sights and the iron sights should remain lower in the field of view.
Fits your setup – or not?
Fits well
Picatinny rail with at least 3 required slots
Optic with Aimpoint Micro / T-1 footprint
Lower 1/3 co-witness with standard height AR iron sights is explicitly desired
Fixed screw mount is more important than tool-free quick detach
Fits rather not
RMR, Docter/Noblex or other screw pattern instead of T-1 footprint
Absolute co-witness or particularly low sight line is sought
Only a Weaver mount is available – Leapers specifies this model as Picatinny
QD function is mandatory
What the mount changes in practice
Lower 1/3 instead of Absolute
The iron sights sit lower in the red dot window. This creates a freer sight picture in normal dot operation without removing the backup sights from the setup.
T-1 footprint clearly defined
The mount is designed for the Aimpo
int-Micro/T-1-Standard designed. Leapers calls H-1, H-2, T-1, and T-2; additionally CompM5 in the manufacturer overview. For third-party optics, the actual screw pattern counts, not just the designation "Micro".
Fixed, lightweight base
6061-T6 aluminum, 37 g weight, Torx clamping and integrated recoil stops keep the setup compact. There is no tool-free QD lever for this.
Limits, disadvantages & avoiding bad purchases
Check footprint first: A similarly sized red dot is not automatically T-1 compatible.
Choose height consciously: Lower 1/3 is a defined sight height and not automatically ideal for every stock or platform geometry.
Picatinny instead of generally Picatinny/Weaver: For MT-T113C the manufacturer specification Picatinny is decisive.
No QD: The mount is screwed on. Frequent tool-free removal is not its intended use.
Check after mounting: Tighten with the specified torques and then check zero/point of impact.
Technical data with practical interpretation
Manufacturer ID
MT-T113C · exact UTG/Leapers variant
Optic interface
T-1 footprint · for matching Aimpoint Micro geometry
Rail mount
Picatinny · requires 3 slots according to manufacturer
Height profile
Lower 1/3 co-witness · designed relative to standard height AR iron sights
Saddle height
approx. 26.6 mm according to current Leapers dimension chart · determines optical axis above the rail
Dimensions
approx. 49 × 29.5 × 33.5 mm (L × W × H) · compact design
Weight
37 g · low additional mass on optic setup
Material
6061-T6 aluminum, black anodized · light and corrosion-resistant surface
Clamping
Torx screw with integrated recoil stops · fixed instead of QD mount
Torque
Side plate approx. 35 in-lbs; optic screws approx. 12 in-lbs · do not exceed manufacturer values
Note on manufacturer data: The Leapers overview also lists saddle height rounded as 1.04 inch; the current dimension chart states 1.06 inch / 26.6 mm. The indicated Lower 1/3 profile is decisive for variant selection.
Scope of delivery
MT-T113C mount including fastening hardware and installation tool. Leapers currently lists 5× M3-0.5 Torx screws, 1× #8-32 T20 screw, and T20 and T10 Torx keys.
FAQ on variant selection
Does the MT-T113C fit an Aimpoint T-2? Yes. Leapers explicitly names H-1, H-2, T-1, and T-2 as compatible.
Does every "Micro" red dot fit? No. The real T-1 footprint is decisive. RMR, Docter/Noblex and other screw patterns require a different mount.
Is this Absolute Co-Witness? No. This SKU is the Lower 1/3 variant. Those needing Absolute Co-Witness must specifically choose a different mounting height.
Can I treat it as a Weaver mount? Not generally. Leapers specifies the MT-T113C as a Picatinny mount; exactly this rail type should be present before purchase.
How tight are the screws? Leapers specifies about 35 in-lbs for the T20 side plate and about 12 in-lbs for the four T10 optic screws. Use a suitable torque tool.
BLACK-RAPTOR classification: The MT-T113C is the right choice when three points match simultaneously: Picatinny base, T-1 footprint, and desired Lower 1/3 profile. Those who buy just by "Aimpoint Micro mount" without checking footprint and height risk a typical bad purchase. For a fixed, lightweight AR-close setup, the design is very straightforward.
