UTG PRO AR308 6-Position Receiver Extension Tube Receiver Extension for AR-308/LR-308 builds with six stock positions. The crucial point is not the number of positions, but whether tube standard, stock, buffer system, and receiver really fit together.

Fits well
for well-planned AR-308/LR-308 builds
if an adjustable stock with six positions is to be used
if tube, stock, and buffer context are clarified before purchase

Fits rather not
if Mil-Spec/Commercial or stock standard is unclear
if the existing buffer system does not match the receiver extension
if a proprietary or folding stock system is used
if you select only by "AR308" without concrete parts check

What the 6-position adjustment practically offers

Adjustable length of pull Multiple positions allow adjustment to shooter, clothing, and shooting position. The benefit only arises with a truly compatible stock.

Platform reference Shopify assigns the part to AR-308/LR-308. This platform family is less standardized than many buyers assume – therefore no universal guarantee.

System part Receiver extension, stock, buffer, and spring work as a unit. A single matching thread does not yet mean the entire system is correctly tuned.

Workbench product This part should be purchased as a component of a planned build, not as an optical stock conversion on a whim.

Limits, disadvantages & avoiding bad purchases

No universal buffer tube: Shopify does not provide a complete dimension and buffer specification. Therefore, no blanket Mil-Spec, Commercial, thread, or buffer compatibilities are claimed. If these points are not clearly defined in the existing system, a technical check before ordering is advisable.
Technical data with practical interpretation

Manufacturer
UTG PRO.

Platform context
AR-308 / LR-308 according to Shopify data set.

Adjustment
6 positions – variable stock length with compatible stock.

Scope of Delivery
Clearly confirmed is the Receiver Extension Tube. Other components such as buffer, spring, end plate, castle nut, or stock are not listed as included in the current Shopify data record and therefore not guaranteed.
Safe Use
Assembly and function testing only on an unloaded system and with clarified parts compatibility. After assembly, stock adjustment, safety and operating paths, as well as the correct function of the entire system, must be checked. If the setup is unclear, assembly should be carried out by knowledgeable persons.
FAQ
Is the tube automatically compatible with every AR-308 stock? No. The Shopify data record is not sufficient for such a universal guarantee. Stock and tube standards must be matched. Are buffer and spring included? They are not clearly listed in the current scope of delivery and are therefore not guaranteed as included. Is the designation AR308 sufficient for selection? No. Relevant differences can exist within this platform family. Receiver, tube, stock, and buffer context must match.
Black-Raptor Classification: Useful component for a deliberately planned AR-308/LR-308 build. Not a product to be selected solely by platform name or six positions.
