UTG PRO +0 Base Pad, Glock Large Frame .45ACP/10mm, Matte Bronze Aluminum

Robust +0 Base Pad in matte bronze: The UTG PRO PUBGL02Z is designed for selected Glock Large Frame OEM magazines in .45 ACP and 10 mm Auto. The precision-machined aluminum base does not increase capacity but creates a larger, heavier grip base for controlled magazine changes and a subtle color coding.

Practical Use
Leapers states 0.283 inch (approx. 7.2 mm) additional height and 1 oz (approx. 28.4 g) weight. This makes the base pad easier to grip during reloads or when pulling the magazine from a tight pouch. The added mass can support the free fall of the empty magazine, provided the grip frame and magwell offer enough clearance.
+0 means: no additional cartridge capacity. PUBGL02Z is not a magazine extension. Bronze also serves as a discreet marking for a specific magazine group.
Compatibility: Glock OEM Large Frame
Explicitly approved by the manufacturer for compatible Glock OEM magazines of models 20, 20SF, 21, 29, 30, 40, and 41 in .45 ACP or 10 mm Auto.

Not for Small Frame: Glock magazines in 9 mm or .40 S&W require a different base pad geometry.

Not for Slimline/Single Stack: Unlisted magazine platforms are not approved.

OEM Reference: Manufacturer approval applies to Glock original magazines; do not assume compatibility with aftermarket magazines.

Magwell: Leapers states use with or without magwell. Since internal contours vary, free fit must be checked on the specific setup.

Installation and Function Check

Unload firearm, remove magazine, and clear ammunition from the workspace.
Carefully loosen the original base and secure the magazine spring under tension.
Slide the PUBGL02Z fully onto the magazine body and check locking.
Insert and eject the empty magazine several times; check for secure fit, free fall, and magwell contact.
Then test feeding and bolt function with a full load under safe, rule-compliant conditions.

Do not use if there is play, incomplete locking, or functional impairment. Do not force fit.

FAQ

Which models are explicitly named? Glock 20, 20SF, 21, 29, 30, 40, and 41 with compatible Glock OEM magazine.
Does the base pad increase capacity? No. +0 means unchanged cartridge capacity.
Does it fit every magwell? Not universally. According to the manufacturer, the geometry is intended for reloads with or without magwell, but actual clearance depends on the magwell used.
Is it suitable for IDPA or USPSA? Leapers lists the base pad as IDPA- and USPSA-compliant. The current rulebook, division, and full setup remain decisive.
Black-Raptor Conclusion: PUBGL02Z is the right bronze variant for compatible Glock Large Frame OEM magazines in .45 ACP and 10 mm, if handl
