Receiver Wedge · Anti-Rattle · Comfort Part
UTG Receiver Wedge: noticeably reduce Upper-/Lower play – without false precision promises The small elastic wedge is designed to reduce normal play or rattling between upper and lower on explicitly compatible receiver combinations. It is a comfort part, not a structural repair component and not a guaranteed precision improvement.
Black-Raptor classification: useful if normal play is subjectively annoying; misused if it is meant to mask damage or unusual tolerance issues.

Fits well / rather doesn’t fit

Fits well if … normal, technically uncritical receiver play is to be reduced and there is enough space in the specific system for the elastic insert.

Rather doesn’t fit if … upper and lower already fit tightly, there is damage, or you expect a verifiable precision increase.

Features and practical effect

Elastic insert The wedge takes up existing play and can thereby reduce the subjective rattling between receiver halves.

Small change, clear purpose The effect mainly concerns the fit and noise. Function, safety, and accuracy are to be considered separately.

No repair function Worn pins, damaged receivers, or unusual stiffness must not be “compensated” by a wedge.

Tolerance-dependent How strong the effect is depends on the individual receiver combination; not every system needs or tolerates additional preload.

Limits, disadvantages and avoiding bad purchases

A too tight fit is not a quality feature. If the system can only be operated with unusual

Nein. Viele Receiver-Kombinationen funktionieren ohne jede Zusatzvorspannung völlig normal.
Black Raptor · Komfortteil, kein Wunderteil
