INTEGRIX iX6 · iX603FA2 · 3–18×44 · FFP · A2 MOA
iX603FA2: FFP-MOA precision from 3× to 18×
Precision work at medium to longer distances: The UTG INTEGRIX iX6 iX603FA2 3–18×44 FFP A2 MOA combines a steady, angle-correct A2 MOA reticle with 18x detail reserve, zero stop, and lockable turrets.
It is designed for precision shooters and hunters who work in MOA and consciously prefer a compact scope for medium to longer distances over a lighter 2–12× or larger 4.5–27×56.
Check mounting and fit
Our honest assessment
The strength lies in the balance: 3× offers overview, 18× allows precise target and shot picture control, and the 44 mm objective keeps the height below that of a 56 mm model. At 841 g, the optic is still no lightweight. This requires a stable 34 mm mount and enough space for a total length of 302 mm.
The A2 MOA is deliberately clearer than a dense Christmas tree reticle. The reticle extends 10 MOA upwards, 60 MOA downwards, and 30 MOA to each side, each in 1 MOA increments. This makes orientation easier but does not provide a broad hold grid for stepped elevation and wind corrections; for that, hold point, turret adjustment, and data card must consciously match.
Fits well if
… / Fits less well if …
Fits well if …
you’re looking for an FFP scope for precision training at the range, sporting precision applications, or hunting, consistently calculate corrections in MOA, and need a reliable return to zero.
Fits less well if …
you expect a lightweight stalking scope, true close-range dynamics like with an LPVO, an MRAD system, or maximum 27- to 36-times magnification.
Purchase check and compatibility
Check before ordering: The iX603FA2 requires a 34 mm mount. The objective area measures 53 mm outside. For the ring position, the manufacturer specifies 45 mm in front and 47 mm behind the turret base; the additionally stated 134 mm is the total mounting area, not a continuously free ring surface. The eye relief is 100 mm. Ring height, ring spacing, rail length, and objective clearance must therefore fit together with the firearm and the natural cheek weld.
Rings or block mounts are not included. As a specific 34 mm option, you can compare the UTG ACCU-SYNC AQR422 34 mm QR rings. The link is not a blanket compatibility approval; rail profile, eye line, cheek rest, and actual mounting height must be checked on your own system.
Practical effect of the features
3–18× and 44 mm
At 3× the field of view remains comparatively wide at 12.6 m at 100 m. At 18× it shrinks to 2.1 m: This brings detail but requires a clean position and head posture. The 44 mm objective is the middle ground between light reserve and mounting height.
FFP A2 MOA
The reticle dimensions remain angularly correct over the entire magnification range. At low magnification, the center appears as a quickly recognizable T-dot; at high magnification it opens to a fine 0.5 MOA floating dot.
Turrets and Zero Stop
1/4 MOA clicks, 24 MOA per revolution, and lockable, zeroable turrets make corrections easy to track. The Zero Stop provides a mechanical reference to confirmed zero after elevation adjustments.
Parallax and illumination
The side parallax works from 30 yd or 27.4 m to infinity. Red or green with eight levels improves reticle visibility; the illumination switches off automatically after twelve hours. It does not replace a night vision device.
Glass and light transmission
Schott/Ohara glass, multi-coating, and more than 92% light transmission support contrast and detail perception in low light. At 18× the exit pupil remains at 2.5 mm; then a clean head position and the actually available ambient light become more important than the transmission value alone.
What counts with changing positions and lighting conditions
Think eye relief and field of view together: The nominal eye relief of about 100 mm is the starting point for ring position, not a blanket safety margin for every caliber or position. The actual clearance under recoil also depends on platform, stock, mount, position, and clothing. The manufacturer’s test up to .338 Lapua Magnum is not a compatibility approval for every setup.
Check position changes before final tightening: Do not set eye relief and ring position only in the most comfortable position. Check at 3× and at the highest regularly used magnification whether the full field of view remains accessible without forced head posture. Only then tighten rings finally according to manufacturer specifications.
Typical misbuys, disadvantages, and limits
Ring diameter: The 34 mm tube fits neither 30 mm nor 1-inch rings. Before purchase, check ring diameter, ring height, rail length, objective clearance, and natural head position together.
System language: A2 reticle and turrets work in MOA. Those who use ballistic calculators, spotter calls, and previous optics in MRAD should consciously decide on the system change.
Weight: The scope weighs 841 g. With rings or mount st

FAQ about the UTG INTEGRIX iX6 iX603FA2 3–18×44
Is the iX603FA2 an FFP scope? Yes. The A2 MOA reticle is in the first focal plane; its angular measurements remain correct at every magnification.
Which rings are needed? A sturdy 34 mm mount. Ring height and design must fit the rail, the 53 mm outer diameter of the objective area, and the desired head position.
Is the A2 MOA suitable for MRAD users? Only with a conscious system change. Turrets and reticle work in MOA; ballistic data and spotter calls should also be in MOA.
What does the Zero Stop do? The Zero Stop creates a mechanical reference to the confirmed zero position on the iX603FA2 and makes returning after elevation adjustments easier.
Is 3× like a red dot for short distances? No. 3× offers a wide field of view for a scope but remains magnified and requires correct eye relief. For true close-range dynamics, an LPVO or red dot is often more suitable.
Can the parallax be adjusted below 27 m? Parallax adjustment starts at 30 yd or 27.4 m. For significantly shorter distances, this model is therefore not the first choice.
Is a 34 mm mount included? No. The stated scope of delivery includes caps, magnification lever, sunshade, battery, tools, cloth and manual, but no rings or block mount.
