Faster than a big precision scope, more flexible than a pure 1x optic The Vudu 1–8×24 SFP is a classic LPVO concept with a 30 mm tube and HC3 BDC reticle. It targets changing distances where 1x use remains important but additional aiming information up to 8x is needed.
Black-Raptor classification: Very coherent for range and all-round setups if you prefer a calm SFP reticle and verify the BDC logic with your real ammunition.

Correctly classifying BDC

BDC marks are not universal distance marks. Their real over
zeroing depends on ammunition, barrel length, velocity, zero distance, and environmental conditions.
Therefore: set zero, shoot real distances, and only then use the markings as reliable reference.

Avoid limits & bad purchases

SFP deliberately follows a different logic than FFP. If you want to flexibly use holdover marks at 3x, 5x, and 7x, FFP usually serves you better. If you prefer a steady, consistent reticle and mainly work at a defined magnification, SFP can be very pleasant.

For exclusively short distances, an HWS or red dot is lighter and usually simpler.
