Felt Cleaning Plugs: caliber-appropriate instead of forced The wool felt plugs are consumables for barrel care of small calibers. The shop offers variants for .17, .22, and .25 – with different pack sizes. The exact size is more important than how many pieces are in the bag.

Our honest assessment

The plugs are suitable for light, regular maintenance and for absorbing oil, cleaner, or dissolved residues in the designated cleaning system. They are not an aggressive deep cleaning for stubborn deposits.
With small barrels, oversize is especially unfavorable: if a plug gets stuck, do not “work through” with higher pressure.

No universal plug: too small felts have too little contact, too large can get stuck
