Carbon Cleaning Rod: Single Component for an Existing Cleaning System The Carbon cleaning rod is the right choice if the handle and adapter are already available and only length or diameter need to be added. It is deliberately not a complete set.

Available in 25 or 93 cm length and 4, 5, or 7 mm diameter. This exact combination determines the sensible use. Carbon offers a lightweight, stiff guidance – but does not replace the correct caliber matching or careful work.
If you don’t yet have a handle or suitable adapter, the Ballistol Carbon cleaning rod as a more complete solution is usually a better choice.

Variant Selection & Practical Effect


93 cm For longer barrels and long gun applications. Practical: enough working length but requires correspondingly more space at the workbench.


25 cm For short barrels and compact applications. Practical: handy but unsuitable for long barrels.


Ø 4 / 5 / 7 mm The diameter must match the caliber range and the free barrel passage. Practical: don’t choose based on stiffness alone.


Carbon Lightweight and stiff for controlled guidance. Practical: Even carbon must be guided straight; tilting remains an operator error.

Was ist der Unterschied zum Carbon-Putzstock? Der Putzstab ist die Einzelkomponente. Beim Carbon-Putzstock sind je nach Variante zusätzlich Wechselgriff und Filzadapter vorgesehen. Welche Länge brauche ich? 25 cm für kurze Anwendungen, 93 cm für längere Läufe. Maßgeblich ist die reale Lauf-/Rohrlänge inklusive notwendigem Arbeitsweg. Ist ein Griff enthalten? Bei diesem Einzelstab nicht automatisch. Wenn du ein vollständigeres Set brauchst, prüfe den Carbon-Putzstock. Kann ich einfach Ø 7 mm nehmen? Nein. Der Durchmesser muss zum Kaliberbereich und zur freien Führung passen.
