Tasmanian Tiger • Tourniquet Carrier
TQ Pouch Basic – slim holder for a defined TQ spot
The TQ Pouch Basic is deliberately simple: an open slip pocket with elastic sides for a tourniquet or similarly sized gear. Its strength is not maximum protection but a clear, quickly accessible spot on the MOLLE setup.

Purchase decision

Fits well if …
you want to carry a tourniquet visibly and without an additional cover flap,
a slim module with only one MOLLE strap makes sense,
you need standard colours or specifically the IRR version in stone grey-olive,
you plan position and access firmly into your existing setup.

Fits less if …
you are looking for a fully closed pouch with protective lid,
you need a multi-purpose pouch for several small items,
you want to carry the TQ deep inside a backpack instead of accessible outside,
you expect IRR but choose a normal 7772 colour variant.

Features and benefits

Elastic side panels The holder can adapt to different TQ shapes or similarly sized gear without becoming unnecessarily wide.

MOLLE reverse system The pouch requires only one MOLLE strap and is therefore also suitable for tight mounting spaces.

Open quick access No additional lid needs to be opened. This is fast but also means less protection against dirt and accidental contact.

Standard or IRR The 7772 variants are the regular colours; the stone grey-olive version 7778-332 is the IRR variant. This is a functional material property, not just a
e color choice.

Limits, disadvantages and avoiding bad purchases
The open design protects the tourniquet less than a closed pouch. Therefore, a fit is crucial where nothing can be pushed out, pinched, or accidentally pulled out. Avoid bad purchases: IRR only applies to the specifically designated Steingrau-Oliv variant. A normal black, olive, or coyote brown TQ Pouch Basic is not automatically the IRR version.

FAQ
Is the TQ Pouch Basic closed? No. It is designed as an open slip pouch. Those wanting a closed protective cover should choose a different TT tourniquet pouch. Is every colour variant IRR? No. The Steingrau-Oliv version 7778-332 is the IRR variant; the 7772 colour variants are the regular versions. Is a tourniquet included? No. The pouch is delivered in the chosen variant.
BLACK RAPTOR Classification: The TQ Pouch Basic makes sense when quick access and low bulk are more important than a fully closed cover. Those expecting a lot of dirt, brush, or heavy mechanical stress outdoors should consciously weigh the open design against a closed model.
