Medic · 57 liters · modular group care
Tasmanian Tiger Medic Platoon Pack Large medic backpack for extensive, clearly separated equipment. The 57-liter system is designed for structured group care and not for a small personal IFAK.
Decisive for purchase: The weight and size only pay off if you really use the internal organization and systematically build the load.

Our assessment

The Medic Platoon Pack is a transport and organization system for extensive medical equipment. Fully fold-out main compartment, eight removable clear pockets, and MOLLE hook-and-loop panels allow fixed material zones instead of loose backpack contents.
If you only carry a day IFAK or a few reserves, you buy significantly more system than necessary with 57 l and about 4.9 kg backpack weight.

Fits well if … … several material groups for team, training, or operational care should be prepared separately.
… heavy loads need to be carried with a real carrying system instead of just shoulder straps.

Fits less if … … you are only looking for a personal emergency kit or a light daypack.
… 57 l volume and the high weight ratio to the load do not bring you any benefit.

Features and practical benefits

Fully fold-out main compartment Material lies visibly in front of you instead of being pulled layer by layer from a deep main compartment. This facilitates fixed procedures and quick inventory checks.

8 clear pockets Removable modules support separation by function,
Person or treatment phase. Transparency reduces search time.

V2 Plus carrying system Aluminum rods and load transfer are relevant in this size class: The backpack quickly becomes heavy when fully loaded.

Detachable hip belt The hip belt supports load transfer and can, according to stored data, be used separately as a Warrior Belt. Test loading and freedom of movement beforehand.

Avoid limits and bad purchases

Don’t underestimate weight: approx. 4.9 kg main backpack or approx. 6.03 kg with the stored accessories – still without medical supplies. A “just in case” fully packed bag can become unnecessarily heavy.
No pre-filled set: The confirmed delivery includes backpack, organizational modules, and hip belt, but not automatically medical consumables.

Technical data with practical interpretation

Dimensions Approx. 66 × 28 × 22 cm. Clearly in the class of large mission backpacks; check vehicle and storage space beforehand.

Volume 57 l. Useful for extensive group care, usually oversized for personal minimal setups.

Material CORDURA 700 den / 420 HD Nylon FD according to Shopify data. Designed for robust, frequent use rather than ultra-light pack weight.

Expansion MOLLE on front and sides as well as MOLLE hook-and-loop inside. Plan external attachments sparingly so that center of gravity and vehicle compatibility are not affected.

Variant selection
The Shopify dataset includes black, coyote brown, olive, and IRR. The IRR variant is priced separately; IRR only makes sense if your entire professional setup meets the corresponding requirements.

Scope of delivery
1 × Tasmanian Tiger Medic Platoon Pack, 8 × removable clear pockets, and detachable hip belt. Medical consumables are not confirmed as part of the delivery.

Safe use
Place heavy equipment close to the body, clearly label modules, and adjust pack loading. Regularly check consumables for completeness and expiration dates. Apply medical measures only according to training and responsibility.

FAQ
Is the Medic Platoon Pack filled? Product data confirm backpack and organizational modules, but no complete medical consumable set.
Is 57 l not too big? For personal minimal care, often yes. The size makes sense if material for several measures, persons, or teams must be organized.
What are the transparent pockets for? They make contents and shortages visible faster and can be removed as complete modules.
What is important about the IRR variant? IRR is a professional material requirement and not a general advantage in everyday life. The overall system is decisive, not a single component.

Black Raptor · classified as purchase decision
The Medic Platoon Pack is a large, durable system for structured group care. If you only need an IFAK, it’s too much. If you need to reproducibly organize 57 liters of medical equipment, this system depth is exactly its advantage.
