Tasmanian Tiger Bladder Pouch Extended MKII – flat hydration bladder pouch with reserve volume
The Bladder Pouch Extended MKII is designed for hydration bladders of about 1 to 3 litres and can be extended downwards via a zipper. With MOLLE reverse, laser-cut MOLLE on the front, and around 5 litres maximum volume, it is much more than a simple bottle pouch.
Black-Raptor classification: useful if a hydration system should sit flat on the carrier and additionally hold elongated material if needed. For pure small item organisation, a more compact utility pouch is usually more efficient.
Our buying advice
Fits well if …
… you want to carry a hydration bladder of about 1–3 litres on a MOLLE carrier.
… you need a flat profile that can be expanded downwards if necessary.
… you want to use additional MOLLE modules or identification on the front.
Less suitable if …
… you only transport a single water bottle.
… your platform does not offer a sufficiently large MOLLE area.
… you mainly want to organise many small items.
Features with practical effect
Expandable design
The bottom can be extended by zipper. This keeps the pouch more compact as long as the extra space is not needed.
MOLLE reverse
The attachment is designed for fixed integration on modular carriers. It requires four MOLLE straps in width.
Front-MOLLE & Velcro Additional gear and identification can be placed on the outside. However, too much front load worsens the flat profile.
Multipurpose instead of just hydration The extended shape can also hold elongated gear. But this does not replace a specially padded tool pouch.
Variants & avoid bad purchases
Available in Black, Coyote Brown, and Olive. The function is the same; the color choice depends on the existing carrier.
Check before buying: Your MOLLE platform must be able to accommodate four loops in width. Also, the position should be chosen so that hose routing, access, and freedom of movement are not hindered.

Dimensions
33 × 17 × 5 cm
Flat base profile; check mounting surface on the carrier beforehand.
Extended length
up to approx. 45 cm
More space for larger hydration bladders or elongated gear.
Volume
approx. 5 l
Maximum volume is not the same as ideal continuous load.
Weight
approx. 295 g
Added weight in addition to the hydration bladder and its water weight.
Material
CORDURA® 700 den / T-Square Rip FD
Robust outer construction for modular use.
Mounting
MOLLE-Reverse, 4 loops
Requires sufficiently wide, tight MOLLE surface.
Limits & safe use
A full hydration bladder adds significantly more weight than the empty pouch. Always test attachment and carrier with actual filling.
Route the hose so it is not kinked or pinched. Do not load the front MOLLE so heavily that the pouch pulls away from the carrier or swings while moving.
Scope of delivery

FAQ
What hydration bladder size fits? The existing product data lists hydration bladders from about 1 to 3 liters. The shape and connectors of the specific bladder should also be checked. How wide is the MOLLE mounting? The pouch requires four MOLLE loops for attachment. Can I also use the pouch for tools? Yes, elongated gear is possible. However, it is primarily designed as a volume-variable hydration pouch and does not offer special tool padding. What does the extension bring? The pouch can remain flatter in its basic state and be extended downward to about 45 cm length if needed.
Black Raptor · Buying decision
Strong choice when hydration should be flat and modular on the carrier. Crucial are sufficient MOLLE surface, clean hose routing, and a load that does not unnecessarily pull the carrying system backward.
