Our honest buying advice

… you want to carry two pistol magazines closed and compact on MOLLE.
… your entire carrying system is consciously aligned with IRR properties.

Fits less if …

… IRR has no real added value for your use.
… you prefer open direct access without a flap.
… extended or strongly deviating magazine bases are used whose fit has not been checked.

What you practically get from it

return.

Closed Velcro Lid Additional security against unintentional falling out and direct external impact.

FAQ
Which magazines does the manufacturer specify? Two Glock double-stack magazines in 9 × 19 mm, .40 S&W, or .45 ACP. Other magazines must be individually checked for dimensions and lid closure. What does IRR bring? The materials used are matched to defined requirements for infrared reflection. This is especially relevant in a correspondingly built overall system. Is the IRR version waterproof? No. The DWR finish is water-repellent against light moisture but does not replace a waterproof construction. Why not just the standard version? If IRR does not serve a specific purpose, the standard version offers the same basic role as a closed double magazine pouch without the specialized IRR focus.
Black Raptor · Purchase Decision
Choose the IRR version if your entire equipment is consciously assembled according to IRR requirements. For normal range and training use, the standard version is usually the more rational choice.
