Tasmanian Tiger Tourniquet Pouch III

A tourniquet is useless if it’s stuck in your backpack or buried under other gear.
The Tourniquet Pouch III is a tourniquet pouch for quick, repeatable access to a TQ on your belt, backpack, or MOLLE carrier.

This isn’t about storage space, it’s about seconds. Access must remain repeatable – even with gloves, gear, and stress.

Why this product?
✔ clear product role: a tourniquet pouch for quick, repeatable access to a TQ on your belt, backpack, or MOLLE carrier ✔ better access because gear doesn’t get lost loose in the main compartment ✔ useful when attachment, packing logic, and access are deliberately planned

Key features

Compact MOLLE pouch for tourniquets
Quick access via large-area hook-and-loop fastener
Additional security with snap button
Internal fixing loop to secure the tourniquet
Four loop attachment options for individual organisation
Suitable for the Combat Medical® Tactical Mechanical Tourniquet TMT™
MOLLE-Reverse system for secure attachment
Requires a MOLLE loop for mounting
Fully enclosed construction to protect your gear

Our assessment (practical benefit)
The Tourniquet Pouch III has a very clear task: a tourniquet must be immediately accessible. Not in the main compartment, not under gloves, not among tools – but in a defined spot.
Its strength lies in quick access. The limit is reached when the pouch is repurposed with other gear and TQ access slows down again.

Trainer tip:
Place the tourniquet so you can reach it with both your right and left hand. A TQ accessible only with your strong hand is poorly planned.

Product limit: Not intended as a general small parts pouch if it worsens TQ access.

Use cases

Belt setup: position the TQ so you can reach it with both hands.

Plate carrier / MOLLE: always choose the same position so access becomes automatic.

Range: don’t overload with small tools – tourniquet remains the priority.

Tasmanian Tiger Tourniquet Pouch III

Important note:
The pouch should not be repurposed with other materials if it slows down tourniquet access. Regularly test the position with both hands.

FAQ

What is this pouch for?
For a tourniquet with quick access, not as a general small parts pouch.

Where should I mount it?
On the belt, plate carrier or backpack so you can reach it with both hands.

Is a tourniquet included?
Only if explicitly stated in the contents. Usually, it is the pouch without contents.

Why is a reproducible position important?
In an emergency, you don’t search around but act by routine. That’s why the position must always stay the same.

Can I overload the pouch?
No. Overloading worsens exactly the access it is designed for.

Especially with Tasmanian Tiger products, the product name alone doesn’t decide, but the clear classification: Is it main equipment, an add-on module, an access pouch, medic organisation or transport solution? When this role is clear, equipment becomes a functional setup.
