Medic Backpack · 57 Liters · IRR
Tasmanian Tiger Medic Platoon Pack IRR Large modular medic backpack for extensive medical equipment with dedicated IRR orientation. The fully opening main compartment and eight removable clear pockets support a fixed, quickly accessible packing logic.
The variant question: This version is relevant for users where IRR is part of a coordinated professional overall system. For purely civilian organizations without this requirement, the standard version is usually more economical.

Fits well / fits less well

Fits well if … … you need to carry large amounts of medical equipment for a group or professional care concept in a structured way.
… IRR is explicitly a procurement criterion and the rest of the equipment set is correspondingly coordinated.

Fits less well if … … you only need a personal IFAK or a light medic daypack.
… you don’t need IRR; then the more expensive special version does not automatically add value in everyday use.

Features and practical effect

57 liters capacity Designed for extensive, group-related medical equipment. The volume should be planned according to access logic and carryable total load, not by maximum filling.

8 removable clear pockets Support reproducible allocation and quick overview; modules can be positioned according to training and care task.

V2 Plus carrying system Designed for heavy loads. Correct back length, hip belt, and compression are crucial so the load sits controlled on the body.

IRR material concept The IRR version is designed for reduced infrared reflection. The benefit only arises i
in conjunction with clothing and other equipment with suitable properties.

Limits, disadvantages and avoiding bad purchases

57 liters and an empty weight of around five kilograms make this pack a serious load carrier, not a normal daypack. With medical load, the total weight quickly increases significantly.
IRR must not be viewed in isolation: a single IRR backpack does not automatically make an otherwise uncoordinated setup signature-reduced. Medical organization also does not replace training.

Technical data with practical interpretation

Volume approx. 57 l – plenty of reserve for extensive medical equipment and modular organization.

Dimensions 66 × 28 × 22 cm – tall, relatively slim design; pack heavy components close to the back.

Weight approx. 4.9 kg empty; with mentioned accessories approx. 6.03 kg. The tare weight should be considered before the actual medical load.

Material / organization CORDURA IRR and 420 HD Nylon FD; inside modular MOLLE hook-and-loop panels, outside expansion panels as well as antenna feed-throughs.

Scope of delivery
1 × Tasmanian Tiger Medic Platoon Pack IRR with 8 clear pockets and the carrying/organizational components belonging to the backpack. Medical consumables or devices are not confirmed as part of the delivery.
Safe use

Train packing logic Always organize material according to training and established procedure. Regularly check consumption and expiration dates and keep positions in the team clearly defined.

Check total load Carry with real load, adjust back length and hip belt, and test whether mobility, vehicle use, and access under load work.

FAQ
What does IRR mean for this model? The version is designed for reduced infrared reflection. This only makes sense as part of a coordinated overall system. Is medical content included? No, medical consumables or devices are not confirmed as part of the delivery. Why not just the standard version? If IRR is not a procurement criterion, the standard version offers the same basic backpack role without the specialized IRR focus. Is the pack intended for a personal IFAK? No, the 57-liter system is clearly too large for that. It is aimed at more extensive medical equipment.
Black Raptor · Only buy IRR if it is really needed
The Medic Platoon Pack IRR combines large modular medic capacity with a specialized IRR design. The added value lies in this clear requirement – not in IRR being generally “better.”
