Böker Plus · Worldwide 2.0
Compact two-hand EDC with slipjoint, 440C and G10 The Worldwide 2.0 deliberately relies on a simple operating logic: opening with nail nick, slipjoint without mechanical lock, 6.4-cm drop point blade and grippy G10 scales. This makes it a lightweight everyday knife for controlled cutting tasks, not a rough work knife.

Fits well – or rather not?

Fits well For EDC, travel and light outdoor tasks when you want a compact two-hand opening, low weight and an unpretentious slipjoint design.

Fits rather not If you expect a mechanically locking blade, one-hand opening or high resistance to pressure in the closing direction. For that, a slipjoint is not the right design.

Features & practical effect

Two-hand opening The nail nick requires deliberate opening and dispenses with flipper or thumb stud. This fits the reduced EDC concept.

Slipjoint Spring pressure holds the blade in position but does not lock it. Therefore, use only for normal cutting motions and avoid pressure on the spine of the blade.

440C The stainless steel offers solid everyday suitability and decent edge retention without the maintenance effort of non-stainless tool steels.

G10 & Clip G10 is dimensionally stable and moisture-resistant. The tip-up clip makes carrying easier, provided the chosen carry method is locally permitted.

Limits, disadvantages & avoiding bad purchases The most important point is the lack of a lock. Do not drill, pry or press hard on the spine of the blade. For heavy outdoor or
Jagdarbeiten is a locking or fixed blade knife mechanically suitable. Always check the rules applicable at your location before carrying it.
Technical data with practical interpretation
Model: Worldwide 2.0 · Item designation in the available product data: 01BO798 · Overall length: 15.5 cm · Blade length: 6.4 cm · Blade thickness: 2.8 mm · Weight: approx. 87 g · Steel: 440C · Handle: G10 · Opening: nail nick/two-handed · Action: slipjoint.
87 g and 6.4 cm blade make the knife pleasantly compact. But these exact dimensions also show: it is intended for everyday cutting, not for rough material work.

Scope of delivery 1 × Böker Plus Worldwide 2.0. Case, sharpening tool or care accessories only if separately specified.
Safe use Open the blade carefully using the nail nick, keep fingers out of the blade path when closing, and only apply force in the cutting direction. A slipjoint must not be confused with a lock.
FAQ Does the blade lock? No. The slipjoint works with spring pressure, not a mechanical lock. Is it a one-handed knife? The available product data indicate manual two-handed opening via nail nick. What tasks is it suitable for? Typical EDC cutting tasks like cardboard, string, packaging, and light outdoor tasks. It is not intended for prying or rough woodwork.
Black-Raptor classification
The Worldwide 2.0 is interesting if you consciously want a small two-handed slipjoint instead of a tactical-looking folder. The lack of a lock is not a hidden detail but the decisive purchase boundary.
