Helmet Adapter · ARC-Rail · Accessories
Sordin ARC Rails 60160
For compatible Sordin Supreme Slim setups on the ARC helmet. The 60160 replaces the headband with a direct rail connection in compatible configurations – useful when less pressure under the helmet and a cleanly integrated hearing protection setup are required.

Fits well / fits rather not

Fits well For helmet users with ARC rails and compatible Sordin Supreme Slim hearing protection who want to remove the headband from the helmet setup.

Fits rather not If you don’t use a helmet, have a non-slim model, or expect the adapter to increase the attenuation by itself.

Practical benefits

Less pressure on the crown The direct rail mounting avoids an additional headband under the helmet.

Cleaner helmet setup Hearing protection and helmet become one unit; this can improve handling and reproducible fit.

Move capsules on and off Depending on adapter position, the capsules can be positioned for use or break.

Compatibility is key The adapter is an accessory for suitable Slim/ARC systems and not a universal Sordin adapter.

Limits, disadvantages & avoiding bad purchases

Before buying, check model and helmet rail. According to the available product description, the 60160 is intended for compatible Sordin Supreme Slim models and ARC-Rail systems. After modification, pressure and sealing must be rechecked. To w
enig pressure reduces protection, too much pressure makes the setup unnecessarily uncomfortable.

FAQ
Does the 60160 fit every Sordin? No. The available product data specify compatible Supreme Slim models; non-Slim configurations must be checked separately. Does the adapter improve attenuation? Not automatically. What matters is whether the cups seal evenly and completely after mounting. Why rail mounting instead of headband? Mainly because of less material under the helmet and a more integrated setup. Are gel pads useful afterwards? They can especially help with glasses to improve sealing and comfort; the real fit is decisive.

Black-Raptor classification: A useful accessory for a truly compatible helmet setup. Without confirmed Slim/ARC compatibility, the 60160 is exactly the kind of accessory that quickly becomes a bad purchase.
