Continental x6 SCOC-46: fast 1x all-rounder in Coyote FDE The SCOC-46 is built for short to medium distances: true 1x base for quick target acquisition, 6x for more precision, and a 30-mm main tube for common mounts.
Purchase-critical: The adjustment works with 1/2 MOA per click and the reticle is in the second focal plane.

Our assessment
If you mostly work dynamically, hunting at short to medium range or on the range, 1–6x gives you a very direct zoom range. Compared to 1–8x, the upper reserve is smaller, but the operation logic remains clear.

Fits well if … … 1x speed is more important than extreme magnification and you’re looking for an FDE LPVO for short to medium distances.

Fits less if … … you need an FFP system, high low-light reserve, or significantly more than 6x for small targets.

Features with practical impact

1–6x 1x supports fast work with both eyes open; 6x is enough for clean holdovers at medium distances.

1/2 MOA One click corresponds to about 1.45 cm at 100 m. This is coarser than 1/4 MOA but quickly understandable when zeroing.

SFP The reticle remains optically the same size. If you work with hold marks, you must observe the intended reference magnification.

30-mm main tube Choose suitable 30-mm rings or block mount; check height and eye relief in natural shooting position.

Limits & avoid bad purchases
24-mm objective and 1–6x prioritise speed and compactness, not maximum low-light performance. With around 480 g plus mount, the optic is also not an ultra-light setup. The supplied mount must fit the existing rail and desired height.
Technical data with practical interpretation

Magnification 1–6x – classic LPVO range for close to medium distance.

Objective / tube 24 mm / 30 mm – com
pakt, easy to mount.

Image plane SFP – constant reticle size when zooming.

Eye relief approx. 100 mm – check position before final tightening.

Click value 1/2 MOA – about 1.45 cm per click at 100 m.

Weight approx. 480 g; mounting is additional.

Scope of delivery
Rifle scope, mounting rings, cleaning cloth, and protective caps for objective and eyepiece according to product data sheet.
Safe use
Tighten mount evenly, check eye relief and clearance, and recheck or zero after every mounting change.
FAQ
Is the SCOC-46 FFP? No, it is an SFP model. What mounting size is needed? 30 mm tube diameter; rail standard and height must also fit. How fine is the turret adjustment? 1/2 MOA per click, about 1.45 cm at 100 m. What is 1–6x especially useful for? For applications where quick 1x target acquisition and a manageable magnification range are more important than high maximum magnification.
Black Raptor · honestly rated
The SCOC-46 suits users looking for a fast 1–6x LPVO in FDE. For dusk, FFP work, or small targets at long range, another optic class is more suitable.
