Tauron Gen II · FFP · 4–32x56
Vector Optics SCFF-34 Tauron Gen II 4–32x56 FFP A consistently detail-focused FFP scope with a 34 mm tube, VAT-5-MIL reticle, and 0.1-MIL adjustment. 32x maximum magnification provides reserve for small targets – but requires a stable rest and precise parallax control.
Black-Raptor classification: If you specifically need 4–32x, you get a lot of magnification and a logically tuned MIL system. If you mainly want to work light, compact, or fast, you should choose a smaller optic class.

Fits well / fits less well

Fits well if … … static precision, distance, and fine target observation are the focus.
… FFP, MIL reticle, and 0.1-MIL clicks are more important than minimal weight.

Fits less well if … … you often work at very short distances or from unstable positions.
… a roughly one-kilogram 56 mm optic would shift your firearm’s balance too much.

Features with practical benefits

4–32x The range is clearly distance-oriented. 32x helps with small details but also makes mirage, pulse, and tiniest hold errors more visible.

VAT-5 MIL · FFP The reticle scales with magnification. This keeps holdover marks proportional across the zoom range and matching the MIL turret adjustment.

28 MIL elevation adjustment The specified elevation travel offers reserves for distance corrections. Actual usable travel depends on mounting, cant, and zeroing position.

34 mm & 95 mm eye relief Check ring diameter, objective clearance, and reproducible eye relief at the mount before installation.

Limits & avoiding bad buys

32x is an option
, not a permanent state. Under many real conditions, you work cleaner with less magnification. If you buy only for the maximum number, you risk unnecessary size and weight.
The scope weighs about 1,007 g according to Shopify data. For long carrying times or very light rifles, this is a relevant disadvantage.

Technical data with practical interpretation

Optics 4–32x56 · VAT-5 MIL · FFP · 34 mm main tube. High magnification reserve for distance.

Adjustment 0.1 MIL per click · 28 MIL elevation · 16 MIL windage. One click corresponds to about 1 cm at 100 m.

Dimensions 360 mm length · approx. 1,007 g · 95 mm eye relief. Plan mounting height and balance consciously.

Field of view 10.3–1.28 m at 100 m. At high magnification, target acquisition is correspondingly slower.

Scope of delivery
Rifle scope · mounting rings · protective caps · magnification adjustment lever · cleaning cloth.
Safe use
Tighten according to manufacturer’s instructions, check eye relief in real shooting position and check point of impact after mounting changes. Always unload and ensure safe condition before mounting work.
FAQ
When is 32x really worth it? Especially with a stable rest, small targets, and good visibility conditions. With mirage or unstable position, less magnification is often more practical. Is the scope intended for short distances? Rather not. 4x minimum magnification and the size clearly speak for medium to longer distances. Which rings fit? 34 mm rings. Additionally, rail, mounting height, objective clearance, and eye relief must fit. What does FFP mean? The reticle scales with magnification, so its holdover marks remain proportional to the target image.
Black Raptor · Purchase decision
The SCFF-34 is for users who can consciously use high magnification. For precision and distance, the combination of FFP, MIL, and 4–32x is logical; for light, fast handling, it is not.
