Vector Optics Continental · SFP LPVO
SCOC-T37 Continental x8 1–8×24 ED Tactical
A 1–8×24 LPVO with true 1×, ED glass, and MIL adjustment for short to medium distances. The SFP concept keeps the reticle optically constant and combines a 30-mm tube, 95 mm eye relief, and 0.1-MIL clicks with a clear range focus.
Does this fit your use?
Fits well
for dynamic range setups from 1× to 8×
if you want an SFP LPVO with MIL clicks
if you already have 30-mm rings
if turret lock and illuminated reticle are important
Fits less well
if holdover marks must be accurate at every magnification
for maximum low-light performance of a large hunting objective
if minimal weight is more important than 1–8× flexibility
if you expect MOA adjustment – this model works with 0.1 MIL
Practical effect of the features
True 1× to 8× At 1×, binocular shooting is possible; 8× offers more target resolution than typical 1–4× or 1–6× scopes but requires a steadier hold.
ED glass The optical design aims for better color rendition and contrast. In practice, this is especially relevant at higher magnifications and with high-contrast edges.
SFP · VET-BTR The reticle remains optically the same size. Hold points and BDC logic must therefore be used according to the intended magnification.
0.1 MIL + Turret Lock The metric click logic is understandable; the lock reduces the risk of unintentional adjustment during transport or position changes.
Limits & avoiding bad purchases
1–8× sounds maximally flexible but does not fully replace a red dot or long-range scope. At 8×, eye position and wobble become more critical; at 1× it remains a scope with an eyebox. Those who want subtension-based hold points at every magnification should choose an FFP LPVO.
Technical data with practical interpretation
Magnification 1–8× wide LPVO range for close to medium distance
Objective 24 mm typically compact for LPVO, not optimized for maximum low-light
Reticle plane / reticle SFP · VET-BTR optically constant reticle across zoom
Click value 0.1 MIL approx. 1 cm at 100 m per click
Tube 30 mm common mounting size
Eye relief 95 mm check at the hold before final mounting
Field of view @100 m 41.0–5.1 m wide at 1×, noticeably sharper at 8×
Parallax 100 yd fixed simplified LPVO concept without Side Focus
Length / Weight 284 mm · 520 g compact with noticeable but moderate weight
Protection IP67 · 6061-T6 designed against dust, moisture, and typical range use
Scope of delivery
SCOC-T37 scope
Picatinny rings
additional blank elevation turret
user manual
objective/eyepiece caps
Mounting & safe use
Check eye relief and eyebox at 1× and 8× before final tightening of the mount. Align the reticle vertically, check turret lock after zeroing, and verify point of impact after disassembly or strong shocks.
FAQ
Is the SCOC-T37 FFP or SFP? SFP. The VET-BTR reticle remains visually the same size when zooming. What is the click adjustment? 0.1 MIL per click. Existing MOA old tags are not the relevant specification for this model. What ring size do I need? 30 mm. What is the main limitation compared to FFP? Subtension-based hold marks are not automatically accurate at every magnification. This must be considered in use.
BLACK-RAPTOR classification: a versatile SFP LPVO for range users who want a true 1× start, 8× reserve, and MIL adjustment. The purchase decision should be consciously made between SFP consistency and FFP scaling.
