Features & practical benefits


2 MOA instead of 3 MOA The current manufacturer page lists a 2-MOA dot for SCRD-D26. The previous 3-MOA value was critically wrong for purchase and has been corrected.

Double Reticle Vector Optics describes dot as well as dot with circle and cross. The finer single dot is suitable for deliberate aiming, the larger structure supports quick visual acquisition.

Motion sensor The automatic on/off logic reduces manual operation and should lower battery consumption. Still check battery status and function before use.

QD Picatinny The included quick-release mount makes mounting and dismounting easier. After remounting, the point of impact should be checked instead of a perf

Grenzen & Fehlkauf vermeiden

30 mm richtig einordnen: Die Herstellerangabe „Objective Lens Size 30 mm“ ist die Objektivgröße. Sie ist kein 30-mm-Rohrdurchmesser für klassische Zielfernrohr-Ringe. Deshalb wurde der fachlich falsche Rohrdurchmesser-Tag entfernt. Ebenfalls wichtig: 1-MOA-Klickwert beschreibt die mechanische Verstellung; das Absehen selbst besitzt einen 2-MOA-Zentralpunkt. Diese Werte dürfen nicht vermischt werden.

Vector Optics bezeichnet 30 mm als Objektivgröße. Das ist keine Freigabe für 30-mm-Zielfernrohrringe. Welche Beleuchtungsstufen gibt es? Der Hersteller nennt acht Tageslichtstufen plus eine Nachtsichtstufe. Die NV-Stufe ist für kompatible Nachtsichttechnik und nicht als normale sichtbare Tagesstufe gedacht.
