Barnes Bullets .338 Cal / 8.5mm in 225 Grain TSX FB 30412

Flat-base design for maximum stability and consistent precision TSX technology with controlled expansion and highest weight retention The Barnes TSX FB bullets in caliber .338 / 8.5 mm with 225 Grain (Art.-No. 30412) are designed for applications where maximum penetration, high stability, and absolute reliability are paramount. As a monolithic copper bullet, they are completely lead-free and feature an extremely robust construction with almost complete weight retention. The proven TSX technology with four defined expansion petals ensures uniform, controlled mushrooming and predictable energy transfer over the entire effective range. The flat-base design supports a very stable flight phase, promotes uniform gas sealing in the barrel, and contributes to consistent point of impact, especially with heavy bullets and short to medium distances. With a bullet weight of 225 Grain, this model belongs to the heavy class in the .338 segment and is ideal for powerful calibers like .338 Winchester Magnum or comparable loadings where deep penetration and impulse transfer are crucial. Circumferential pressure relief grooves reduce barrel friction, optimize gas pressure, and support clean, reproducible ballistics. Barnes stands for tight manufacturing tolerances and consistently high quality, reflected in constant seating depth and high repeat accuracy. CN Jagd & Schießsport offers these Barnes TSX FB 225 Grain bullets as a high-quality premium component for users seeking a heavy, lead-free .338 bullet with maximum stability, technical precision, and reliable performance.
