Hornady Caliber .338 / 8.5mm SST in 200 Grain #33102

Polymer tip bullet for rapid expansion and high precision SST technology with InterLock ring for controlled bullet performance The Hornady SST bullets in caliber .338 / 8.5 mm with 200 Grain (Art.-No. 33102) are designed for high precision, rapid expansion, and predictable bullet performance. The SST design (Super Shock Tip) combines a polymer tip with an aerodynamically optimized bullet shape, improving the ballistic coefficient and achieving a flat trajectory. The polymer tip also ensures reliable expansion upon impact, even at varying velocities. The integrated InterLock ring mechanically connects the jacket and lead core, causing the bullet to expand in a controlled manner while retaining a high weight. This supports consistent energy transfer and stable penetration. With a bullet weight of 200 Grain, this SST bullet offers a balanced combination of velocity, penetration, and stability, making it ideal for powerful .338 calibers like .338 Winchester Magnum or comparable loadings. The precise jacket manufacturing and tight tolerances ensure consistent seating depths, clean ballistics, and reproducible point of impact. Hornady stands for proven bullet technology and consistently high production quality. CN Jagd & Schießsport offers the Hornady SST 200 Grain bullets as a performance-oriented component for users seeking a precise .338 bullet with rapid expansion, controlled effect, and reliable performance.Technical data: Lead-free: No Caliber: .338 Bullet weight: 200 Grain / 13.0 grams Bullet type: Partial jacket polymer tip Bullet designation: SST (Super Shock Tip) Package content: 100 pieces Manufacturer number: 33102Category: Hunting bullet
