Hornady Caliber .338 / 8.5mm ECX TIPPED in 185 Grain | Lead-Free Premium Bullet #33272

Modern copper construction with polymer tip for consistent ballistics ECX technology for controlled expansion and high precision The Hornady ECX TIPPED bullets in caliber .338 / 8.5 mm with 185 Grain (Art.-No. 21033272) represent modern, lead-free bullet technology with a clear focus on performance. The monolithic ECX construction made of copper alloy completely dispenses with lead and offers very high weight retention while ensuring controlled, uniform expansion. The integrated polymer tip improves the ballistic coefficient, ensures a flat trajectory, and reliably initiates expansion even at lower impact velocities. This results in predictable energy transfer with stable penetration. With 185 Grain, this bullet positions itself in the powerful mid-range of the .338 segment and is ideal for precise loadings in common .338 calibers. The streamlined geometry supports a consistent flight phase with low wind drift, while the precise manufacturing with tight tolerances ensures uniform seating depth and reproducible point of impact. Hornady stands for industrial manufacturing quality and proven designs focused on reliability and repeatability. CN Jagd & Schießsport offers the Hornady ECX TIPPED 185 Grain bullets as a high-quality component for users seeking a lead-free .338 bullet with modern technology, clear performance, and clean ballistics. A contemporary solution for performance-oriented applications in the upper caliber segment.Technical data: Lead-free: Yes Caliber: .338 Bullet weight: 185 Grain / 12.0 grams Bullet type: Monolithic bullet made of a copper alloy with polymer tip Bullet designation: CX Package content: 50 pieces Manufacturer number: 33272
