Barnes Bullets .338/ 8.5mm in 185 Grain TSX BT

Boat-tail design for stable trajectory and precise energy transfer TSX technology for controlled expansion and maximum weight retention The Barnes TSX BT bullets in caliber .338 / 8.5 mm with 185 Grain (Art.-Nr. 30408) stand for uncompromising performance, high precision, and modern lead-free bullet technology. As a monolithic copper bullet, they are completely lead-free and feature exceptionally high structural stability. The proven TSX design with four defined expansion petals ensures uniform, controlled mushrooming while retaining almost the entire bullet weight. This achieves predictable energy delivery with pronounced penetration effect. The boat-tail base improves the ballistic coefficient, reduces air resistance, and enables a flat trajectory with stable point of impact even at longer distances. With 185 Grain, this bullet is positioned in the medium to heavy range and offers a balanced combination of penetration, stability, and range, ideal for powerful .338 calibers like .338 Win. Mag. or comparable loadings. Circumferential pressure relief grooves reduce barrel friction, optimize gas pressure, and support clean, reproducible ballistics. Barnes stands for tight manufacturing tolerances and consistently high quality, reflected in constant seating depth and high repeat accuracy. CN Jagd & Schießsport offers these Barnes TSX BT 185 Grain bullets as a high-quality component for users seeking a powerful, lead-free .338 bullet with clear performance orientation and technical precision.Technical data: – Lead-free: Yes– Caliber: .338 / 8.5mm– Bullet weight: 185 Grain / 12.0 grams– Bullet type: Hollow point bullet– Bullet designation: TSX FB– Package content: 50 pieces– Manufacturer number: 30408
