50 pieces Sierra MatchKing HPBT bullets caliber .224 in 77 grain #9377T

Heavy long-range match bullet for maximum wind stability HPBT design with high BC performance for precise competition loads The Sierra MatchKing HPBT in caliber .224 with 77 Grain is a match bullet consistently designed for precision and reproducible external ballistics for demanding reloaders and sport shooters. Within the established MatchKing series, the 77-grain version is among the heavier .224 bullets and is especially suitable for performance-oriented .223 Remington loads with appropriate twist rate. The proven Hollow-Point-Boat-Tail design combines a precisely shaped hollow point with an aerodynamically optimised base. This geometry supports stable bullet flight and reduces aerodynamic drag, allowing the bullet to maintain its velocity more efficiently over longer distances. The comparatively high bullet weight also offers advantages in wind drift, making the MatchKing 77 gr a well-established option for sporting applications at medium and longer ranges. Sierra places special emphasis on controlled jacket manufacturing, uniform bullet geometry, and tight production tolerances in its MatchKing bullets. For reloaders, these characteristics provide a high-quality basis for systematic load development and reproducible results. Bullet, twist rate, seating depth, and other components must be matched to the respective firearm and combined exclusively based on tested load data. The packaging unit with 50 bullets is suitable both for targeted test series and for fine-tuning precision-oriented match loads. The Sierra MatchKing is explicitly designed as a sporting precision bullet and is not to be equated with an expanding hollow-point hunting bullet.Technical data: Manufacturer: Sierra Series: MatchKing Caliber / Diameter: .224" Bullet weight: 77 gr Bullet shape: HPBT – Hollow Point Boat Tail Construction: Jacketed bullet with lead core Application: Match, competition, and long-range shooting Suitable use: e.g. .223 Remington with appropriate twist rate Packaging: 50 bullets Product type: Bullets as reloading components
