PPU Bullets .30 / .308 168 gr (10.9 g) HPBT

Hollow Point Boat Tail geometry for stable trajectories and tight groups Process-stable manufacturing and tight tolerances for maximum precision performance The PPU bullets .30 / .308 in the weight 168 Grain (10.9 g) HPBT B-363 / 36-01110 are performance-oriented match projectiles for users who value consistently high precision, stable ballistic properties, and repeatable exact reloads. The Hollow-Point-Boat-Tail design reduces aerodynamic drag, improves bullet stabilization during flight, and ensures smooth transition behavior from the barrel muzzle to free flight. The Boat-Tail base optimizes energy retention over medium to long distances and minimizes pressure- or wind-induced deflections, which directly contributes to tighter shot groups. The jacket manufacturing is done with high tolerance requirements for wall thickness, concentricity, and center of gravity position, resulting in a projectile with homogeneous mass behavior and supporting precise seating in the case neck. The HP design primarily serves mass centering and not expansion, creating controlled, consistent ballistics for pure precision applications. PPU uses process-stable manufacturing methods that keep friction values in the barrel consistent and reduce deposits, improving reloadability and supporting barrel life. The 168-gr class is considered a proven standard for match disciplines in the .308 segment, making the bullets ideal for sport precision shooters and ambitious reloaders. CN Jagd & Schießsport offers the PPU .308 168 gr HPBT B-363 in 50-piece packs and supports users with expert advice on the optimal combination of powder, seating depth, and case geometry.
