The XPR™ offers a decisive advantage that makes it an extremely precise rifle: the M.O.A.™ trigger. Originally developed by WINCHESTER® for the legendary M70™, this trigger is based on a toggle lever system that allows a short and very fast release of the firing pin for maximum precision. The triple-zero principle: zero take-up, zero creep, zero overtravel.

Two-position safety
The XPR™ features a double safety system consisting of a conventional safety (on/off) and a bolt safety. The bolt release button 2 is located in front of the conventional safety button 1 and allows loading/unloading in the safe position, i.e., when the conventional safety is activated. During hunting, the cocking indicator on the bolt carrier 3 provides the user with additional safety by instantly showing the rifle’s status (firing pin cocked or not).
