Mercury Saphire Synthetic 8x57JS

ARTIKELBESCHREIBUNGMulti-Radial-barrelintegrated Picatinny railMuzzle thread M15x1The model name SAPHIRE stands for Sabatti All Purpose Hunting Italian Rifle. The name already indicates that the Italian manufacturer has developed its new bolt-action rifle specifically for hunting use. It therefore differs fundamentally from the traditional Rover rifle. The Saphire offers the possibility to use interchangeable barrels, and it also features a comfortable 60-degree opening angle and a fine trigger. The safety used locks both the trigger and the trigger lug. It is a very safe system because the locking of the trigger lug is designed to be particularly robust. And when the trigger lug is locked, the firing pin is basically locked as well. Theoretically, a safety that directly locks the firing pin is safer, but due to the small size of the components, these parts are often less durable. The newly developed cold-hammered Multi-Radial barrel (MRR®) made of AISI-4140 (42CrMo4) steel by Sabatti reduces bullet abrasion, achieves a higher muzzle velocity, and is significantly more precise in bullet guidance. All model versions come with an M15x1 muzzle thread for optional mounting of a suppressor or muzzle brake. The open sights are screwed on so that they can be easily removed when using over-barrel suppressors. This keeps all options open for the user. When not in use, the muzzle thread is covered and simultaneously protected by an inconspicuous cap. The barrel length is 52 cm and the barrel outer diameter is approx. 17 mm.The bolt is CNC-milled from 55 aluminum. An integrated, two-part Picatinny rail ensures maximum flexibility for scope mounting. The locking head made of NiCrMo steel received special toughness and hardness through a special heat treatment.60-degree openerInterchangeable barrel optionMulti-Radial barrelMuzzle thread M15x1removable sightsTechnical dataBarrel length: 52 cmBarrel type: Multi-Radial barrelDirect/fine trigger3-position safetyMounting rail: PicatinnyMagazine capacity: 3 cartridgesStock shape: with cheekpieceStock material: syntheticSystem material: 55 aluminum
