This is the new Mauser 18 Waldjagd. It was created as a rifle for all hunters who want to perfectly use the entire hunting spectrum with one and the same tool—from stand hunting to stalking to driven hunt.
Thanks to its compact overall length of 101 cm and the practical total weight of 3,100 grams, it neither gets in the way nor feels heavy.
The short 51 cm solid barrel with muzzle thread ensures in all situations that the "Waldjagd" rests securely on the shoulder, swings perfectly, and impresses with high shooting comfort.
For close-range shots and when speed is essential, the Mauser 18 "Waldjagd" can optionally be equipped with a high-contrast ghost ring sight. For the ultra-robust polymer stock, the Mauser product developers chose a classic fir green. The grippy inlays on the pistol grip and fore-end, so appreciated on all Mauser 18 models, as well as the tool-free removable buttplate, are of course again among the top features.
Please note that additional equipment shown, such as mounts, scopes, slings, or ghost ring sights, are not included in the delivery. On request, the rifle can be ordered with a ghost ring sight for an additional charge.
