Glock Mod. 17 Gen5 MOS FS SD

The new models of the Gen5 have been improved in the following features: New grip frame: The finger grooves used since 1998 have disappeared. This change provides some users with a better grip feel. Magazine funnel: The grip frame is slightly "flared" outward. Ambidextrous slide stop lever: Both models are now equally suitable for left- and right-handed users. New sights: The Gen5 models are equipped with a significantly larger light gap between the rear sight and front sight. This results in a much better sight picture, especially under adverse lighting conditions. Modified barrel: The barrel has been redesigned and is now called GLOCK's Marksman Barrel (GMB) and is supposed to ensure improved precision. New surfaces: According to the manufacturer, the new models have received the much more durable nDLC surface. The grip frames and slides of the GEN 5 GLOCK are no longer compatible with the predecessors GEN 1, GEN 2, or GEN 3. Modular Optic System This is a special platform for mounting additional optics on the slide. With the MOS, the shooter can mount all important commercially available red dot sights. The advantages of red dot sights are faster target acquisition and higher precision at longer distances. The MOS is a roughly 60mm long milling on the top of the slide, where the included adapters for the various red dots are screwed in.
