24/7 and with two selectable fields of view
With the T16, Hikmicro presents a powerful trail camera with a dual optical system, selectable between a 60° and a 100° field of view. The range is up to 25 m. The highly sensitive PIR sensor triggers automatically within just 0.4 s upon movement and delivers razor-sharp and clear recordings around the clock, at night using 940 nm infrared LEDs invisible to wildlife. This allows documenting the natural behavior of animals. Algorithms filter out optical and acoustic disturbances and reduce false triggers.

Photos and videos in high quality
The native resolution of photos is 6 MP, which can be interpolated up to 24 MP in UHD quality. The video HD quality is 1080p, and an integrated microphone also records sound. Various modes are available for recordings, including burst shots with 3 images per trigger. An integrated 64 GB memory secures the data, and depending on the chosen data plan, cloud options are also available.

Simply perfectly installed
Installation is easy using the supplied strap on a tree or pole; the T16 camera also features a ¼“-inch interface for mounting on a tripod. Using a smartphone and the Hikmicro Sight app, the correct alignment of the camera can be checked via the Wi-Fi hotspot.

The data flow
The transmit-capable T16 trail camera is configured and controlled on the smartphone with the Hikmicro Sight app, which offers numerous monitoring options. The pre-installed SIM card supports both 4G and LTE. The multi-roaming card automatically searches for the strongest network in 47 countries. Efficient, power-saving operation
The camera can be powered by 4 18650 or 12 AA batteries; the hardware is configured for long operating times. Optionally, a solar panel or an external power source can be connected.
