The Weatherby Model 307 is a new bolt-action rifle from the American traditional manufacturer - the first in 50 years. Based on the Remington 700 platform, the system offers very good compatibility with accessories such as stocks, triggers, and mounts, while maintaining the usual high Weatherby quality.

Like the Remington 700, it is a classically designed bolt-action rifle with a two-lug bolt. The bolt can be easily removed via the side locking button and is equipped with an extractor integrated into the bolt head, the so-called "M16 style." The bolt cap can be removed without tools, allowing the bolt to be disassembled without tools. The Model 307 is equipped with a two-position safety that does not block the bolt - allowing the rifle to be safely unloaded.

The offered system features the Sendero barrel profile - a stiff semi-bull barrel profile for high precision and use with suppressors. The 20" barrel and system are coated with Cerakote in Tungsten, while the bolt is made of carbon steel and coated in Graphite Black Cerakote. Spiral fluting on the bolt reduces weight slightly and also looks good. The muzzle has a standard 5/8"x24 UNF thread - protected by the included cap, which is also Cerakote coated. Equipped with a Triggertech "Field" trigger, a glass-hard breaking direct trigger, adjustable from approx. 1,130g to 2,260g - the distinctly rounded trigger blade ensures a consistent trigger finger position. Perfectly suited for hunting use with wet or cold fingers.

Tip:
Compatible with various stocks for the Remington 700 - chassis with magazine feed can also be used.

Please note:
The scope mounts use the thicker 8-40 inch screws! Stocks requiring floorplates, such as those from GRS, do NOT fit.
