Merkel K5 Extreme Carbon Break Action Rifle

The new ease in high-tech - the Merkel break-action rifle K5 Extreme Carbon
If you consistently follow the principle of uncompromising handling, you arrive at the Merkel K5 Extreme Carbon break-action rifle.

FBT Carbon stock
The modern carbon skeleton stock from FBT Fine Ballistic Tools (Austria) with a large grip area, height-adjustable cheekpiece, and dynamic design combines ergonomics with maximum stability. The lightweight carbon stock weighing under 700g immediately makes a positive difference, especially in offhand shooting. The K5 changes its characteristics through the stock and becomes precision-enhancing front-heavy. The height-adjustable cheekpiece with memory function ensures the shooter always finds the perfect sight line individually.

Hunter break-action bolt
The removable break-action bolt is the heart of the K5: it locks steel on steel, is extremely lightweight, short, and secure. The titanium-nitrided bolt block is removable, making the firearm quickly and easily incapable of firing. The locking system with removable hunter break-action bolt features a separate cocking mechanism.

Cocking mechanism
The proven cocking mechanism operates completely silently and is easy to use – almost no finger strength is required. The revised trigger system is adjustable in length and laterally. With a trigger pull weight of only 600g and a wider trigger blade, the Merkel K5 can be comfortably operated with any finger and hand shape.

Barrel with i-Sight system
Merkel barrels have always had an excellent reputation. The fluted barrel with a diameter of 17mm and a length of 51cm is equipped with the detachable universal sight i-Sight system and a covered M15x1 muzzle thread. With a single internal hex screw, the rear sight and front sight can be removed; the front sight can also be moved back – depending on whether shooting is done with a suppressor, without sights, or with a muzzle brake. Furthermore, the barrel is milled to accommodate the Suhl flip-up mount (SAM). The scope mount guarantees a low sight line, highest shot resistance, and repeatable point-of-impact accuracy.
