The Franchi Affinity 3.5 X Elite Cobalt Camo Optifade Timber semi-automatic shotgun in caliber 12/89 in the new improved version – for a top-class shooting experience.The “X” in the Affinity 3.5 X Elite Cobalt Camo Optifade Timber semi-automatic shotgun means that this is the newly optimized version by Franchi of the proven model in Supermagnum caliber 12/89 with barrel lengths of 71 and 76 cm. The Stock
The ergonomically redesigned stock is made of high-strength synthetic and features the Camo Optifade Timber camouflage pattern. The fore-end with the internal tube magazine is particularly slim and light, as it does not require space for a gas pressure loading system. Because of the slim stock design, the hand lies close to the sight line, promising exceptional handling. The improved bolt cap can be easily unscrewed, and the tube magazine has a capacity of 4+1 rounds. The stock ends with a revised TSA stock pad (Twin Shock Absorber), whose cushioning reduces perceived recoil by 50%. The new L.O.P. spacer allows the length of pull to be adjusted.

The System
The system of the Affinity 3.5 X is made from an aluminum alloy and is protected by a durable and robust Cerakote Cobalt coating. It fits perfectly into the shotgun. The improved inertia-driven recoil loading system consists of only three parts – bolt body, spring, and bolt head – making it less prone to issues and very low maintenance. All components are easy to clean. Additionally, the loading process is greatly accelerated. The rifle is very well balanced and recoil is less harsh. The safety is located on the new trigger guard in front of the trigger. Safety and release are operated with the trigger finger by pressing left or right. As an additional visual signal, a red border warns when the safety is off. The trigger can be easily operated even with gloves. The bolt lever and the unlocking head have also been optimized.

The Barrel
The barrel is also coated with the particularly durable and non-reflective Cerakote Cobalt finish and is offered in lengths of 71 cm or 76 cm. It is equipped with an 8 mm wide ventilated sight rib that carries a fiberglass front sight. The top of the rib is finely guilloché. Included are 3 interchangeable MC choke inserts.
